How To Get Started
I need to get in shape FIRST before I try CrossFit!
We get this a lot, and nothing could be further from the truth! You DO NOT need to lose weight, practice Olympic weightlifting or be proficient at rope climbing before starting our program! You DO need to have the courage to start something new, and keep an open mind as you gain exposure to new and challenging elements on a weekly basis. If you are ready for a change and a challenge, this is the place for you because this is what we consider FUN!
Your first step in becoming part of the CrossFit Fort Myers family, is to come in for an introductory workout and orientation. Currently, we hold this class EVERY Wednesday at 5:00 PM. All you have to do is show up ready to work! Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early as we start right at 5:00.
Here is what you can expect when you come: We are located at 12601 Metro Parkway, Bld #3, Fort Myers, FL 33966. We are located South of Crystal Drive in the Metro Storage complex next to Ericksons Drying Systems. Please bring with you a water bottle and sweat towel and come dressed to workout. We will begin with a basic warm up, then we will explain your workout and demonstrate and practice all of the movements so that you are comfortable. After the workout, we will explain our program and answer any questions you may have! All of this will take approximately 1 hour.
The introductory workout and orientation is very important to us, as we want to get to know each client on a personal level before they start so we can make you feel comfortable with the program from day one! All new clients, regardless of fitness level or experience, enter the program at CFFM through the same portal ensuring a consistent delivery of our program objectives, and a more natural flow for YOU.
